Girl Child Day: Wema Bank, Others Boost Events Diary’s Vision

Event Diary Lifestyle will host the second edition of the International Day of the Girl Child celebration through its Young Girls In School initiative. The event, themed “Girls’ Vision for the Future”, will take place at Top Teezs Academy, Ojodu Abiodun, starting at 10:00 AM. This year’s celebration will focus on promoting gender equality and championing girls’ rights for a better tomorrow, in line with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The event aims to inspire and empower young girls aged 13 to 16, fostering leadership, confidence, and a vision for their future. More than 5 schools from the Ojodu Abiodun area will participate, bringing together students, educators, and leaders who are passionate about this important cause.

Event Diary Lifestyle is proud to collaborate with the management and staffs of Top Teezs Academy and other participating schools, to ensure that young girls are equipped with the tools and knowledge they need to dream big and achieve their goals.

The event will feature a Keynote Address from Hon (Mrs.) Fateema  Mohammed Bashir, the Convener of FAMO foundation, a distinguished advocate for girls’ empowerment and gender equality. The keynote speech will address the importance of education, leadership, and self-empowerment for young girls in today’s world.
