Students of Adekunle Ajasin University face expulsion if found guilty of any of a new list of what is tagged indecent dressing.
The Senate of the higher institution located in Akungba- Akoko, Ondo state issued the notice in a circular with reference number AD/ REG//CIR/58/VOL. VI/309.
The notice signed by Olugbenga Arajulu, the registrar – according to a report monitored by societynow.ng on dailypost.ng – stated identified indecent dressing as ““wearing of skimpy skirts and blouses; leaving cleavages open by female students; and wearing of braids or dreadlocks, earrings, nose rings, tattered jeans, sagging etc” and will no longer be tolerated on campus.
The statement warned that “Any student of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, who violates the above Senate decision on indecent dressing is deemed to have committed a misconduct and he/she shall be sanctioned accordingly. Please be guided.”
