Its been shouts of Congratulations from groups and friends following the announcement of Tayo Ajinde, the Chief Of Staff to Lagos State Governor, as the Director General of the 2023 campaign of the Presidential Election of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the President and Shetima as Vice President of Nigeria.
The task is also saddled with the Re- election of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Obafemi Hamzat as the Governor and Deputy Governor of Lagos State.
Tayo Ayinde, who is known in the political world as “BUFFALO” was recently sworn in with other Directors, Deputy Directors and Secretary’s to Committees of the different directorates of the Independent Campaign Group, “ICG”.
The event which took place at the APC party secretariat on Oduduwa way GRA, Ikeja, had many party stalwarts and leaders in attendance.
Cardinal James Odumbaku, popularly known as “BABA ETO”, AIG Odumosu, Hon. Funmi Tejuosho and other dignitaries supervised the event.
Tayo Ayinde was the Director General of the ICG, for the election of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Obafemi Hamzat as Governor and Deputy Governor of Lagos state four years ago.
According to party faithfuls who spoke at the event said “Buffalo” is the right man for the job, with the outstanding success achieved at the 2018 polls.
Tayo Ayinde was absent at the event due to the loss of his wife.
