Jadon Sancho Opens Up As Man U New Signee, Yoro, Is Off For 3 Months

JADON SANCHO is thrilled to be playing for Manchester United again after last season’s bitter bust-up with boss Erik ten Hag.

The winger, 24, has rebuilt bridges on the club’s US tour following the epic fallout that sparked a loan move to Borussia Dortmund in January.

Asked if he is glad to be back, Sancho told MUTV: “Definitely, 100 per cent. It’s been nice, back with the lads, it’s been good.”

It is a remarkable turnaround for the star, who was banished from the first team last season following a spat with ETH.

Old Trafford’s Dutch gaffer accused Sancho of training poorly and dropped him for United’s 3-1 defeat at Arsenal in September.

The player hit back claiming he was being made a “scapegoat”.

But with striker Rasmus Hojlund out for six weeks with a hamstring injury, Sancho is set to start in United’s Prem opener at home to Fulham.

Ten Hag has already held clear-the-air talks with the England forward.

Last month, ETH revealed: “We spoke well. Anyone can make a mistake.

“This club needs good players and one thing is for sure, Jadon is a good player.

“I hope he will contribute to our success.”

United suffered more pre-season injury woes as Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Victor Lindelof and Jonny Evans were all forced off during the 3-0 defeat to Liverpool in South Carolina.

New £42million centre-back Leny Yoro, 18, is also out for three months with a foot injury he picked up against Arsenal in LA.

Ten Hag told MUTV: “We have to see what’s gone on.

“We also had to sub Jonny at half-time because he was ill.

“Victor was a precaution. So, yeah, there are some injuries but we have to see how bad it will be. That is part of club football.”

United light the blue-touch paper for the new Premier League season a week on Friday, welcoming Fulham to Old Trafford.
