Lamine Yamal has unfollowed his girlfriend Alex Padilla on social media after a recent viral video, according to a report in Spain.
The TikTok star was spotted seemingly sitting on another boy’s lap on an Instagram live video which sparked a fevered speculation on the status of her relationship with Yamal, having only gone public with their union earlier this month.
Following Spain’s triumph at Euro 2024, where Yamal starred and took home the Young Player of the Tournament award, the pair were inseparable as they celebrated with his team-mates and their friends and family on the Berlin pitch.
Padilla, who now boasts a TikTok following of 1.7million, was in attendance for several of La Roja’s group stage matches in Germany and was often seen sitting alongside the Barcelona winger’s family.
According to the Sun, the couple also jetted off to Milan and Greece as the 17-year-old made the most of his well-earned break.
However, it now appears that their budding romance has come to an abrupt end following the video on social media. Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo claim that Yamal has unfollowed Padilla.
The footage of Padilla with another boy led some on the social media platform to accuse her of cheating on the footballer.
Very little is known about Barcelona student but her profile has skyrocketed since pictures of herself and Yamal circulated following Spain’s Euro success.
Clutching the sleek silverware on her lap, Padilla placed her arm around Yamal and smiled for the cameras while sitting on top of the podium.
In one photo, a gleeful Yamal also appeared to take a selfie with Padilla.
The couple were accompanied by Yamal’s father, Mounir Nasraoui, who before the game had correctly predicted his son would shine on the biggest of occasions.
