Barcelona have been trying to make sales all summer, but so far, only Chadi Riad’s move to Crystal Palace and Marc Guiu’s switch to Chelsea have brought €15m into their accounts. However the latest coming out of the Catalan capital is that they have a significant offer on the table.
As per MD, a bid of €65m has arrived from Saudi Arabia for Brazilian forward Raphinha, although they do not state the origin of the team. This is not the first time an offer has been reported from the Middle East, with Al-Sadd also thought to be interested too, but either Barcelona have not seen fit to accept it, or the player has not.
The Catalan paper have claimed that Barcelona would be looking for closer to €90m for Raphinha, and consider the offer for the winger low. Yet they also say that Raphinha is not willing to leave the Blaugrana, and any side bidding for him would have to first convince him.
