The Peoples Democratic Party’s Candidate in the approaching November 2024 gubernatorial election in Ondo state, H E, Agboola Alfred Ajayi, has assured workers in the state of a PDP government of change, with a human face, that will enhance workers interest and welfare positively.
This is contained in a goodwill message to workers on the occasion of the Workers Day celebration, issued on Wednesday by the Spokesperson of the Agboola Ajayi Campaign Group, Samuel Ogunmusi.
The former Deputy Governor was full of praise for the workers “for serving the state with might and strength, even when they have just little to show for their effort.”
Ajayi described as no mean feat, their effort to ” push the state’s Internally Generated Revenue from a paltry N1b monthly, to it’s present N3b, especially ,in a state widely considered a civil service state with limited entrepreneurial opportunities”
He said ” the time is almost here for workers in our dear state to begin to get befitting reward for their daily toils and unwavering effort to ensure the state survive economically”
Declaring that a PDP government will “not only ensure you get wage in tandem with your commendable output, our government will equally ensure that goods and services you expend your pay package are also affordable.
” There are programmes in place to ensure guaranteed better lives for workers in active service and after retirement.
” We are not oblivious of your challenges as workers in the state, but be assured that, a new dawn is almost here when the PDP government with a human face shall berth to put smiles on all faces”.
