An Oyo State High Court sitting in Ibadan has nullified the selection and appointment of Oba Sakirudeen Oyeleye as the Onifiditi of Fiditi.

The staff of office was presented to Oyeleye on October 18, 2021, by Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde and other officials.
The court in its ruling also restrained all defendants from taking further actions towards filling the vacant stool of the Onifiditi of Fiditi pending the determination of the suit.
The plaintiffs in the case are Samuel Ogunkunle and Bayo Oyewale.
They were represented by R. A. Olawuwo and B.M. Olimene.
The court awarded a cost of N200,000 in favor of the plaintiffs and adjourned the suit until May 22.
