The Nigerian Marketing Research Association (NIMRA) has elected new executive members to drive the affairs of the association for the next two years.
Seyi Adeoye, CEO of Pierrine Consulting and a consummate professional, tactile and endearing communicator was elected as the President of the association.
In his new role, Seyi will be leading the charge to Reimagine, Engage, and Grow the marketing research industry in Nigeria.
While announcing the appointment, Pierrine Consulting on its LinkedIn page wrote, “We’re thrilled to announce that our CEO, Seyi Adeoye has been elected President of the Nigerian Marketing Research Association (NiMRA).
“With our very own S.A. at the helm of NiMRA, we’re confident that the Nigerian marketing research landscape will experience significant growth and transformation.
“Congratulations, Boss! We’re incredibly proud of your accomplishment and excited to see your vision for NiMRA come to life.”
In his remarks, Seyi said “I promised to stick to my manifestos by putting up strong structures that can future-proof the association, bringing a clear value proposition, benefits that will bring value to stakeholders and members. I also promised to bring the association to limelight locally and internationally.”
According to media reports, 362 voters were accredited, 307 successfully cast their votes which represented about 76% of the total accredited voters. While 79% voted physically, 21% of accredited members voted online.
Other elected members include, Mrs Ajibike Seun-Ajayi as Vice President, Seyide Wusu as Treasurer, Victor Onofomi as Financial Secretary, Ademola Adekunle as Assistant General Secretary, and Opeyemi Dairo as General Secretary. At the event, marketing research professionals were urged to propagate the need to utilize data gathering and analytics in navigating the turbulent terrains of Nigeria’s marketing space.
