Wale Akinterinwa, the leading aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming governorship election in Ondo state, has urged the people of the state to continue to live in peace and show love to one another as Christians world over observe Easter.
Akinterinwa’s message was contained in a statement by Segun Ajiboye, spokesperson of the Wale Akinterinwa Campaign Organisation.
He charged the people to keep the hope for a better and greater Ondo state.
Akinteriwa further urged the people to continue to love, trust and believe the words of God which enjoined humans to love one another.
Noting that development thrives in a peaceful environment, Akinterinwa urged Christians to love one another and to use the opportunity of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ to pray for the state.
While felicitating Christians on the successful celebration of this year’s Easter, Akinterinwa assured the Christian community and the entire citizen of the state that the renewed hope agenda of President Bola Tinubu is about to take root in Ondo state.
According to Akinterinwa, “Easter, which is celebrated in remembrance of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, preaches love and the hope of everlasting life. As believers of the word, we need to continue to have hope and faith in a better and prosperous Ondo state.
“Soon, the renewed hope agenda of our dear President Bola Tinubu will begin to take root in our dear state, one in which all of us will be proud stakeholders. It is time for rekindled hope in our state, a state where the sun will shine brightly once again.”
