A new dial, 98.7, Smailz Radio, has been added to the functioning dials.
The Radio has been in operation since 2016 but only metamorphosed into the terrestrial phase of broadcasting after being licensed by the National Broadcast Commission (NBC) as Smailz Radio 98.7 FM.
The general News and Entertainment provider is situated in Arepo suburb, Ogun State has launched its proper radio service.
In a statement issued by Surrealistic Media Group the station is offering a mix of entertainment, national news and current affairs programmes to promote African culture and traditions. This would be presented in Yoruba and English as well as pidgin English.
Having completed test transmissions the station is working at full commercial operation in the month of October.
The statement added that, listeners could access live audio/visual feeds through the website www.smailz987fm.com as well as its Instagram handle @smailzradio or through a simple download of its app from any smart mobile phone.
According to the statement, Smailz Radio is open to collaborations with big and small media buyers and partners to and develop thriving business relationships.as well as to promote Nigeria’s unity irrespective of faiths, ethnics or cultural affiliations.
