Nigerians especially residents of Abeokuta South Local Government in Ogun State have been urged to take back the Country and vote massively for the PDP as the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC has failed woefully on all indices.
The House of Assembly Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP vying to represent Abeokuta South State Constituency 1, Chief Lukman Atobatele who stated this in Ake area of Abeokuta during the flag off of the PDP polling unit campaign across the local government said the PDP with its years of experience in governance will do better.
The Assembly hopeful who is the Dagunja of Egbaland said “the down trend in the economy and security aspects of the nation’s life has produced more jobless and poverty stricken individuals”.
According to him,” It is quite unfortunate that the incompetence and insincerity of those manning the affairs of the APC has brought us to this level. That was not the good intentions when the party was formed and people like us won’t continue to associate with such failure. This downward trend must be stopped to avoid total collapse”.
“To eat three square meal is now a problem. The people are waiting for us to rescue them from the misrule and the sufferings presently being experienced, thus we can not afford to let them down” Atobatele said.
The Assembly hopeful said, the PDP as a better organised party had screened its candidates well to ensure that those who have the interest of the masses at heart are the party’s flag-bearers.
He assured that the PDP will perform better as the party is more interested in improving the lives of the people and ensuring great infrastructural development.
