A Federal High Court in Abuja on Friday 29th, 2023 has confirmed Hon (Dr.) Oladipupo Adebutu as the authentic Governorship Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP in the forth coming elections in Ogun Stare.
The party, in a statement issued by its state publicity secretary, Asiwaju Bankole Akinloye, described the judgement as “victory for all” who belong to the same united and indivisible political family under the chairmanship of Alhaji (Dr.) Sikirulai Ogundele.
Akinloye also commended Otunba Jimi Lawal for exercising his fundamental human right by seeking redress through legal process and not resorting to self help.
“The judgement is a victory for all PDP stakeholders, loyal members and indeed, the good people of Ogun state who are anxiously waiting for the return of PDP to power. The judgement will go a long way in deepening the tradition and roots of party supremacy over private individuals’ ambition”, Akinloye added.
He further appealed to all members, supporters of the party and citizens of good conscience to reinvest their loyalty and vote for PDP and all its candidates in its quest to reposition Ogun state to the path of socio-economic, prosperity and abundance in the forthcoming 2023 general election
