In a desperate bid to save her life and that of her young son, Mrs Temitayo Mosaku, a businesswoman from Ogun State, has gone into hiding following chilling allegations that her brother-in-law, Mr Nurudeen Sayid Mosaku, has made multiple attempts on her life.

Mr. Nurudeen, a politician and prominent member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State, allegedly masterminded the abduction of his own brother, Mr. Abiodun Waheed Mosaku, in 2017. Since then, he has reportedly waged a relentless campaign of terror against the wife, Mrs. Mosaku.

Speaking from an undisclosed location, Mrs. Mosaku revealed that she was left with no choice but to seek protection by concealing herself after suffering years of brutal attacks, intimidation, and the tragic murder of her younger brother.

The Nightmare Begins

In 2019, Mrs Mosaku, in a chat with newsheadline247, said her ordeal started in 2017 when her husband, Abiodun, was kidnapped under mysterious circumstances. She claims Mr Nurudeen played a role in the abduction and later demanded a staggering ransom of fifty million naira (N50,000,000) for his release—an amount she could not afford. Shockingly, her brother-in-law allegedly sold off her husband’s properties to raise twenty million naira (N20,000,000), yet Abiodun has not been seen or heard from since.

“My brother-in-law has refused to provide any evidence of my husband’s whereabouts. He claimed the kidnappers demanded a ransom, yet after selling my husband’s properties, he still didn’t bring him back,” Mrs. Mosaku lamented.

A Series of Life-Threatening Attacks

Two weeks after Abiodun’s abduction, the horror escalated. Armed men, whom Mrs. Mosaku believes were sent by Mr. Nurudeen, stormed her shop under the guise of armed robbers. They brutally assaulted her, stole valuables, and left her for dead. The attack was so vicious that she suffered a miscarriage.

“I was beaten mercilessly and dragged across the floor until I lost my pregnancy. I fainted in a pool of blood before neighbors rushed me to the hospital,” she recounted.

As if that wasn’t enough, the attacks continued. She claims the same gang repeatedly targeted her, her son, and even her two sisters. The violence reached a tragic climax in 2019 when her younger brother, who had come to visit her, was shot and killed while attempting to protect her from yet another attack.

“It became clear that my brother-in-law was behind everything. He always seemed to know where I was, no matter where I ran—to Abeokuta, to Ibadan, anywhere. He was determined to eliminate me and my son,” she alleged.

Forced into Exile

With no protection from the authorities despite filing reports with the police, Mrs. Mosaku made the heartbreaking decision to go into hiding. Leaving behind everything she knew, she sought protection away from what she describes as an orchestrated attempt on her life by a powerful and well-connected politician who is her brother-in-law.

“I had no other choice. The attacks were relentless, and I knew if I stayed, my son and I would not survive,” she said.

As of now, the whereabouts of her husband remain unknown, and there has been no official response from Mr. Nurudeen Mosaku regarding the allegations. Mrs. Mosaku hopes that speaking out will finally bring justice and expose the truth behind her harrowing ordeal.
