Publisher of Triangle magazine and social media influencer, Femi Salako has called on the federal government, through the Minister of Sports to dissolve the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) board.

Salako hinged his call for the dissolution of NFF board on the disgraceful announcement of the purpoted hiring of Bruno Labbadia without even concluding contractal talks with the German.

He wonders why the NFF led by its Chairman, Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau would have gone ahead to publicly announce the hiring of a foreign coach, Bruno Labbadia without even bothering to conclude talks with him; let alone sign any contractual documents with the German.

Salako said he was not surprised that Bruno had not issued any statement on his purpoted hiring by the NFF for the obvious reason. He wondered why the NFF had chosen to expose Nigeria to global ridicule due to uncoordinated activities of the board.

Salako laments that the NFF was beginning to toy with the qualification chances of the Super Eagles going by confusing activities of the board. He equally laments that Nigerian football as a major unifying factor was at the point of being jeopardized by the Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau led NFF.

The social media influencer however, called on the EFCC to investigate subventions that have accrued to the NFF since the Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau board came into office. He also called on the Sports Ministry to show interest in the hiring of Bruno Labbadia ahead of the world cup qualifying matches of the Super Eagles.
