According to Fabrizio Romano, talks between Napoli and Paris Saint-Germain over the potential transfer of Victor Osimhen (25) are currently on standby. The Nigerian striker has emerged as a top target for the Ligue 1 champions as they seek to bolster their attacking options.
PSG have agreed personal terms with Osimhen over a potential move to the French capital, Fabrice Hawkins understands. However, conversations between Napoli and Les Parisiens have not been as fruitful. No agreement has been reached between Paris and the Serie A club with a deal currently on standby.
The Naples club hope to recruit Chelsea’s Romelu Lukaku (31) as Osimhen’s replacement with Antonio Conte a big fan of the Belgian international. Romano reports that Napoli would be willing to discuss the former Lille striker in a potential swap deal with Chelsea as they plan to bring Lukaku to Italy during the summer transfer window.
