Bin Abbas, Launches NYA, A’Ibom Chapter

A rapidly evolving youth  movement, The Nigerian Youths Alliance, has been inaugurated in, Uyo,  Akwa Ibom state.

The inauguration was done by the Alliance’s President, Ambassador Aliyu Bin Abbas.

Performing the inauguration, Abbas said the  National Youths Alliance, is  a non partisan, non religious and non anti governmental organization, floated as a vehicle, to help the  Nigerian Youth  transport their expectations and translate their dreams of a better Nigeria into reality.

The NYA president, enjoined the youths to continue to utilize their full potentials as agents of change in  pushing for the enthronement of quality leadership and good governance in the country without compromise or intimidation

 He  also charged them, not to sit on the fence  and watch anylonger , the country’s socio,-economic fortunes collapse in the hands of incompetent fellows with selfish motives. 

Abbas enjoined the Youths to join hands with like-minds in chatting a new course that will bring about a re – birth of a new Nigeria which the present and future generations will be proud of. 

 According  to the youth  leader,  it was time for all positive minded youths of Nigeria to rise up in unity and rescue Nigeria from total collapse from misfits individuals with ample time and resources at their disposals but could not effect any positive change that will improve on the living conditions of Nigerians.

The Youth advocate explained that it was unacceptable for Nigerians to continue to allow few selfish individuals to hijack a country of over two million people, mismanage its enormously endowed human and natural resources, leaving its citizens to wallow in abject poverty in the midst plenty.

He said his visit to Akwa Ibom was to inaugurate the State chapter so that the Youths in the state will also partake in  the call for change advocacy spread across the country for a better Nigeria.

He maintained that a time has come for all hands to be on deck and ensure that Nigeria is handed to vibrant young minds, capable, competent and God fearing leaders to administer the affairs of the country for the overall good fo all Nigerians regardless of political and religious sentiment.

Amb. Abbas commended Akwa Ibom Youths for their peaceful disposition, positive contribution and genuine  interest in nation building, adding that Akwa Ibom has distinguished her positively both in governance, human and infrastructure development.

Speaking earlier, the state coordinator of Nigerian Youths Alliance,, NYA, Hon. Godwin Onwiebiak, commended the National President, Amb. Abbas for always being at the fore front in advocating for good governance and sound leadership in Nigeria.

Hon Onwiebiak who is also a personal assistant to the governor of Akwa Ibom State, promised on behalf of the state executive to work hand in hand with the national leadership of the body to achieve its set goals and objectives.

High point of the event was official inauguration of the State chapter of the body whose leadership cut across the 31 local government areas of the State
