His transition to eternal bliss over a week ago, just like his conversion  to the Christian faith, was very dramatic.

Prophet Shina Bello, according to a family source, complained about a slight discomfort in his body while trying to remove a bottle of water from the shelf. He was taken to the hospital, a test conducted, while the doctor concluded on a surgery. He was being prepared for the theatre when he breathed his last.

A native of Arigbajo in Ogun state, Prophet Bello,  though born in Mafoluku, Oshodi , Lagos, his parents moved him to Ghana, where he was until the infamous mass ‘repatriation’  of Nigerians resident  in Ghana.

After his secondary education in Ibadan, the Prophet who was born by devoted Muslim parents,  enrolled him in Arabic school.

On a particular day, while reciting some portions of the Quran, Bello started speaking in biblical tongues like the adherents of the Christian  faith.

Efforts were made to calm him down but this continued unabated until his Quranic teachers called the parents. Bello got the message and gave his life to Christ with the parents support, though after initial reluctance.

Bello gained entrance into a higher institution in Ondo to study Mechanical Engineering. While in school, it became more evident that he had a call upon his head hence, years later in the City of Ibadan, he birthed a parish of the Celestial Church.

Born in 1963, Bello’s church grew rapidly, he however left the Celestial fold to float a fellowship centre cum Church: Amazing Grace Prayer And Prophetic Mountain.

In 2017, the adjudged powerful man of God who is also a vehicle dealer, relocated to  Abeokuta where the new church became very big and prominent.
