CKNNews Publisher, Becomes Obowo’s Chief ( Pictures)

The Publisher of Nigeria’s foremost online media platform CKNNews, Chris Kehinde Nwandu ( CKN ) was on Friday 5th January 2024 formally conferred with his traditional title of OMERE OHA of Umuokeh Obowo 

The event was conducted by HRH Eze Dr Ifeanyichukwu Okafor Ibe ( Okeh 1 ) the traditional ruler of Umuokeh , Obowo LGA , Imo State

CKN CONFERRED WITH CHIEFTAINCY TITLE OF OMERE OHA OF UMUOKEH OBOWO,IMO STATE

“Today I was formally conferred with the Chieftaincy title of Omere Oha ( Benevolent Giver ) of Umuokeh Obowo ,one of the most respected town in Obowo Imo State by HRH Eze Dr Ifeanyichukwu John Okafor Ibe ( Okeh 1 of Umuokeh ) at his Palace.

The main ceremony was initially held in Umuokeh Obowo on 25th July 2023 but I couldn’t join my colleagues because I was in far away Canada 

Since I could not be installed in absentia, I was formally conferred today with my official certificate 

My wife is now the Lolo EZI NWANYI 

HRH Dr Okafor Ibe a 1978 graduate of Political Science ( UNILAG ) is also the father of Hon Chike Ibe , current member of House of Representatives

Chris Kehinde Nwandu an illustrious son of Obowo was honored for his philanthropic works which has seen him empowered several widows and less privileged students in the society

In his acceptance speak, the astute Journalist and Law Graduate thanked the Paramount ruler and the good people of Umuokeh Obowo for the great honor done him , promising to be a good Ambassador of the Community and Nigeria 

The Chieftaincy is a follow up to another Chieftaincy title of OKWURU OHA bestowed on CKN in 2018 by Eze Ndigbo Of Mushin Lagos
