Labeled King Of The Airwave, Lagos based radio station, Miliki 101.3 FM is set to mark its one year Anniversary.
According to the Station’s General Manager, Saint Niyi Ojemakinde, activities marking the first anniversary of the strictly Yoruba speaking broadcast station will begin on the 30th of August, with a courtesy visit to the Lagos State’s Ministry of Information.
The first day in September is designed as “Listeners day”.
A day “set aside to celebrate with our listeners
” 0ne hundred of them will come to represent the others at our station to catch fun with the presenters”
The Grand finale of the station’s months long musical talent hunt project, IRAWO NI MI, will hold on Sunday September 3rd along with the anniversary Gala night.
The anniversary will climax with a Church and mosque services on the 8th and 10th of September respectively.
Following it’s popularity within it’s 12 months operation, Miliki FM has enjoyed endorsements from popular music and movie acts like Professor Ebenezer Obey Fabiyi, Prince jide Kosoko, Apola King, Idowu Animashaun, Prince Toye Ajagun, KWAM1, Paul Play Dairo, Diipo Gatos and Mike Abdul among others.
