“He has always been a serial betrayer who care less about people” Party Chairman Claims
The People’s Democratic Party, PDP in Abeokuta South has described a former Chieftain of the Party, Mr Taiwo Akinlabi as a serial betrayer who was never trusted and never cared for the good of Ogun People.
The Chairman of PDP in Abeokuta South, Hon. Kammar Sodipo who stated this while commenting on Akinlabi’s decamping to the African Democratic Congress, ADC said the PDP would not miss someone like him, who is a Judas, but urged him to return all the properties of the party with him.
He said the action of the former Senatorial Chairman of the Party was not only ignoble but a betrayal of trust from a supposed leader.
Hon. Sodipo said, “no noble character would betray the confidence the people reposed in him for a pot of porridge, but only those with such characters, as that of Akinlabi, who must quickly return all the properties of the PDP still in his custody”.
He said, “that Akinlabi with such high position could do that while the PDP as a party did everything to make him happy means he has proved to the world that he is a man with no honour, an unprincipled fellow and ‘anywhere belle-face politician, who should never be trusted”.
The local government chairman said , “it was good riddance to bad rubbish as he could not boast of any formidable followership even while running after Jimi Lawal”.
Sodipo assured Ogun State people that the PDP without such betrayal, is waxing stronger, noting that the party with the support of those who believe the sufferings from APC must end, would win this Saturday’s gubernatorial and state assembly elections.
