A member of the People’s Democratic Party in Ondo State, Olusoji Michael Johnson is yet to return home following his escape during an attack on him in 2014 preparatory to the 2015 presidential election.
Popular among party stalwarts as MJ, being acronym for Michael Johnson, the fair skinned politician’s Igbokoda, Ondo South home was attacked with his car and other valuables destroyed.
Before he could escape however, Johnson’s attackers succeeded in breaking one of his legs.
Following his escape, the attackers descended on his properties as his vehicles and house got seriously battered but Johnson has not been seen by members of his family since then.
Explaining that Johnson’s family members are raising the alarm over his whereabout now “because we are daily becoming hopeless over his returning home anytime soon” his elder sister Mrs Mosunmola Nwaogwugwu said the entire family have been waiting in vain since 2014 hoping he will return home.
Speaking in the same vein, Johnson’s younger sister, Mrs Gbemisola Olusoji said attempts were made on Johnson’s life twice before the incident which led to his escape from home, adding that family members are becoming hopeless over his case as the hope of reuniting with him someday is becoming a mirage by the day.
