Lagos State Govt Orders Closure of Chrisland School over Death of Pupil

The Lagos State government using the ministry of education has issued an order for temporary closure of Chrisland School Opebi Ikeja following the reported death of a pupil, Whitney Omodesola Adeniran.

The released was signed by State Commissioner of Education , Mrs Folashade Adefisayo who said the closure was ordered pending the outcome of full investigation into the unfortunate incident. The Lagos State government action has been greeted with thumb up with encouragement not to open the school until autopsy is been carried out, revealing the truthful cause of her death.

The father of the deceased took to the social media to narrate how the incident happened.

On 9th /2/2023 . (my daughter name is Whitney Adeniran) it happened that my daughter attend CHRISLAND HIGH SCHOOL and it was their inter-house sport event yesterday(Thursday) February 9th 2023 and she dressed up from home, healthy with no health conditions or sickness at all, the school bus came to pick her up to the venue of the event at Agege stadium,
