The management of the English team, Manchester United has sacked one of the world’s best football players, Cristiano Ronaldo!
Following Ronaldo controversial interview with the British broadcaster, Piers Morgan where he reacted negatively to the structure and management of Manchester United and also speak unhealthy of some players, the club has decided to terminate his appointment with immediate effect.
On the club official website, https://www.manutd.com/en , the following was posted few minutes ago:
“Cristiano Ronaldo is to leave Manchester United by mutual agreement, with immediate effect.
The club thanks him for his immense contribution across two spells at Old Trafford, scoring 145 goals in 346 appearances, and wishes him and his family well for the future.
Everyone at Manchester United remains focused on continuing the team’s progress under Erik ten Hag and working together to deliver success on the pitch.”
It will recalled that Ronaldo spent six seasons at Manchester United during his first stint with the club before he left for Real Madrid. From 2009 to 2021, he played for Real Madrid and Juventus before returning to Old Trafford with a two-year contract.
