Ota Hosts ‘Simply Native Fashion Show’ Again

The city of Ota in Ogun State will be hosting a Fashion Show tagged “SIMPLY NATIVE FASHION SHOW” on October 8 and 9, 2022.

In a release made available to the media by the organizer of the event, this is the second edition of this show in Ota.

According to the Creative Director of Novent Concept, Yomi Oke-Asiwaju, “over the years, we have been actively involved in the growth process of many key players in the fashion industry. This Fashion Show will serve as an expression platform for their craft and will connect them with potential client bases across the globe”.

He further said that SIMPLY NATIVE FASHION SHOW 2.0 will be a 2-day event. While day 1 will be for the Masterclass, day 2 will be for the Runway Show. Asiwaju noted that only Made in Nigeria wear and Fashion accessories will be showcased on the runway.

This event is billed to hold at The Palms Ota Mall along Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway, in Ota, Ogun State. He explained that the Masterclass which will hold on Saturday, October 8 at 4 pm is for all Fashion Entrepreneurs and enthusiasts ranging from Fashion Designers to Make-Up artists to Hair Stylists, Photographers, Models, and every other professional in the Fashion Value Chain. The Runway Show will hold on Sunday, October 9 at 2 pm.

You will recall that five years ago, Novent Concept debuted the first Fashion Show in Ota which was adjudged as the biggest in Ogun State. The Media and entertainment company is set to break its record with the sophomore edition.

About 40 Models will be gracing the runway with collections from 10 Fashion Houses. The event is expected to have nothing less than 200 participants for the Masterclass and about 500 guests for the Runway Show. Attendance for the Masterclass is free while access to the Runway Show attracts the sum of N2,000 for regular guests and N5,000 for VIP guests.

The event is supported by CWAY Foods and Beverages, Pardee Foods, Kuala Bar & Lounge, Intercontinental Distillers Limited, De United Foods and Industries Limited, and The Palms Mall.
