The All Peoples Congress(APC) in Ondo State and Princess Adejoke Orelope Adefulire, the SSA to the President on SDGs and former Deputy Governor of Lagos State are currently engaged in silent war which may blow into the open soon.
A source close to the former Deputy Governor informed that her political camp are bitter with the Ondo APC, over what was described as their relentless politics of deceit particularly in Ile-Oluji.
This it was gathered , has been a subject of concern to the Presidential aide and her group as there have been complaints over the exploitation of projects initiated by the Princess which the APC in the state usually advertise as government projects to decieving the ignorant public.
It was gathered that the former Deputy Governor’s efforts have led to significant developments in Ile-Oluji, including bridge construction, school renovations, and the establishment of the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Skill Acquisition Center.
However, the APC leaders in Ondo State and Ile-Oluji have been falsely claiming these projects as their own achievements.
The APC has also been accused of impersonating Princess Adefulire by erecting a campaign billboard in her name, without her knowledge or consent to create an impression of support for the party’s candidate in the coming gubernatorial election in the state.
This deceitful act , a member of her group claimed, she is seeing as a clear indication that the party has nothing substantial to offer the masses in the state.
“It’s essential for the people of Ondo State, particularly in Ile-Oluji, to be aware of these tactics and not be deceived. The APC’s actions undermine the integrity of the political process and demonstrate a lack of genuine concern for the welfare of the people” a member of her group told this reporter under the condition of anonymity.
Adefuilure, who was quoted to always maintain that” it’s crucial to promote transparency and accountability in politics, was said to be piqued by the deceitful game of the Ondo APC because as she was quoted to have said while complaining about the deceitful act of the party in Ondo, “the people deserve honest representation, not manipulation and deception”
