Guber: Ondo PDP Leaders Sing Victory Song As Agbo Is Unveiled Flag Bearer

People’s Democratic Party’s candidate in the November 2024 gubernatorial election in Ondo State,H.E, Agboola Alfred Ajayi, was on Thursday, Officially unveiled in Akure, Ondo State  to party members as the flag bearer in the coming  election. 

Leaders and   party  members in the State  trooped out in their numbers to witness  the unveiling ceremony, which  took place in the hall of the State Party Secretariat in  Akure.

 The gubernatorial candidate appreciated the leaders and party men for the show of love demonstrated towards him, even as he announced his happiness and joy at the unity and show of solidarity that have become a common place in the party of late.

Announcing that quite a large number of people are already preparing to join the party, Ajayi  said he is happy that the party is  now more united than ever and  thus declared that ” we

are ready to liberate Ondo State people through PDP” .

While calling for the love and unity being witnessed  in the party to be sustained, Ajayi maintained  the need for a deep rooted unity in the party, adding that only this can make the party win the scheduled election.

 Also speaking at the occasion, a leader of the party and former Attorney General in the state,Eyitayo Jegede (SAN)  said he is ready to lead the charge in the coming election,  in the interest of the Ondo State masses that are going through hard times in Ondo State, insisting that they must be liberated.

 On his part, another leader of the party, Eddy Olafeso insisted on the   need to work assiduously together, so that the party can win the next election . 

He said he is confident  that the PDP will form the next government in the state  through the November election.

Other notable party leaders present at the occasion include ,  Barr John Ola Mafo, Dr Tayo Dairo, Ondo State former Deputy Governor,  Ambassador Omolade Oluwateru, Chief Mrs Olubitan , Lady Funmilayo Olafunmiloye  all members of the State Working committe , Party leaders across alll the three senatorial district in the  State.
