A former deputy governor of Oyo State, Barrister Iyiola Oladokun and some members of his family have been displaced as a result of the explosion that rocked Ibadan on Tuesday.
Report says Oladokun and his family members are currently being housed by a friend.
A report quoted a close associate of the former deputy governor as saying his house was affected by the explosion.
“The house of the former deputy governor of Oyo State is located in the area where the incident occurred.
“It is close to the building where the explosion occurred. They have vacated the house,” the source said.
It was also mentioned that the home of the former Attorney General of the Federation, late Chief Bola Ige was also affected.
Another source added that the houses of some staff members of the University of Ibadan were affected.
