According to ECOWAS commissioner Abdel-Fatau Musah, all members states would be joining, except Cape Verde and those under military rule. This follows confirmation from Chad, Guinea, Burkina Faso and Mali who have long pulled out of any military intervention.
Ivory Coast and Ghana would be sending an estimated 3000 soldiers combined to the invasion. Other countries have also pledged between 300 to 1000 men each. Nigeria is rumored to pledge about 8000 soldiers.
