Nigerians In Ghana Hail Tinubu, Seek Better Life For ECOWAS Citizens

The Acting President of All Nigeria Community, Ghana chapter, Chief Bayo Albert Asaolu has commended the efforts of Nigeria President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu  in office so far.

The All Nigeria Community Chief in Ghana said he had lived outside Nigeria for many years and the image of Nigerians outside the country has been seriously battered, saying that, most countries have always placed Nigerians at the unfriendly level inspite of their economic contribution in those countries.

Reacting on the many challenges facing Nigerians living in Ghana, Asaolu assured that the story will change in no time. “I have been discussing with my fellow Executive members at the National and Regional level and I can assure our host country of a new look Nigerians in Ghana”.

He expressed his trust in the ability of the President of Nigeria to establish a better West Africa relationship”.  He said he was confident that ECOWAS citizens will enjoy good movement within the region and that in return will boost the economy of the region. He pointed out that the long time relationship should be maintained without any prejudice. 

Asaolu however, called on Nigerians in Ghana to desist from any activity that can jeopardise the quality diplomatic relationship between Nigeria and Ghana which he said dated to pre-colonial era.  

He also commended the Nigeria High Commissioner in Ghana at the moment for his vision to stabilise the relationship between the two country saying, the High Commissioner has given his ANC the needed support.

While congratulating president Tinubu for being the ECOWAS Chairman, he said Nigerians back home should give the president a little time to stabilise his programmes. “Truly, we need serious intervention but all these will not happen magically”, he concluded.
