The Peoples Democratic Party candidate for Ogun Central Senatorial District, Chief Olumide Aderinokun is confident that the 2023 general elections will change the political landscape in Ogun State and Nigeria.
Chief Aderinokun stressed that the people in Ogun Central deserve better when he attended consolidated ward meetings to welcome new members to the PDP in Abeokuta South, Ifo and Ewekoro Local Government Areas this week.
The Akinruyiwa of Owu Kingdom joined other PDP candidates in the events that took place on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
Chief Aderinokun said: “I am for my people and there is no room for disappointment, I can’t afford not to perform and ease you of this hardship we face currently.
“The roads in and outside of Ifo are nothing to write home about, I felt the pain too. The same challenge is what we have in Ewekoro.
“I know things will change for good after 2023, because we can not reinforce failure with failure in Ogun State.
“I listen to the yearnings of my people regularly. People are tired of the incumbent party and government.”
Chief Aderinokun also shared his experience on the Agbado road on Tuesday afternoon with a video on his Twitter page.
He tweeted: I visited Agbado today after several calls about the deplorable conditions of roads in Ifo Local Government Area and I saw the agony people endure on a daily basis, especially during rainy season.
“Mr. Governor, Dapo Abiodun should remember that we are part of Ogun State. Act now!”
